The 2019 ESPYS

8 p.m. ET on ABC – Series Premiere

From Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Tracy Morgan (“30 Rock”) hosts these ceremonies (airing live in most markets) celebrating the year’s greatest achievements in sports, as selected by fans in online voting. For the first time since 1994, all the nominees for best male athlete — Patrick Mahomes, Mookie Betts, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brooks Koepka — are newcomers to that category. Additionally, pillar awards such as the Pat Tillman Award for Service honor inspiring athletes who embody the spirit of the ESPYS.

Battle of the 80s Supercars with David Hasselhoff

8 p.m. ET on HISTORY

If you thought KITT, the iconic supercar on the 1980s action series “Knight Rider,” was the stuff of fantasy and nothing else, think again. In this two-hour special, actor David Hasselhoff, who played crime-fighter Michael Knight on that TV show, shows how KITT actually revolutionized the real-world car industry. The special climaxes with a race featuring — in addition to Hasselhoff and KITT — other stars and their wheels such as Dirk Benedict in the “A-Team” van and “CHiPs” star Erik Estrada with his motorcycle.

3

Snowfall

10 p.m. ET on FX – Season Premiere

Season 3 of this gritty drama opens in the summer of 1984, as crack cocaine spreads like wildfire through South Central Los Angeles. In the season premiere, “Protect and Swerve,” Franklin and Cissy (Damson Idris, Michael Hyatt) look to expand their business by making an investment in the community, while Franklin’s frustrated next-door neighbor, Sgt. Andre Wright (Marcus Henderson), continues trying to find the source of this insidious plague. Amin Joseph and Carter Hudson also star.

4

Marrying Millions

10 p.m. ET on LIFETIME - Series Premiere

The creative team behind "90 Day Fiancé" also devised this new unscripted series, which examines the love lives of six fiscally mismatched couples. In each case, one partner is extremely affluent and the other is, um, not. That leaves the couples trying to become comfortable in each other's worlds while weathering gossip that one of them is a gold-digger. The series premiere, "Can't Buy My Love," features Brianna, 21, who is ill at ease with the friends of Bill, who is 40 years her senior.
