Gordon Ramsay’s culinary competition series gets a flashy new setting as the temperamental chef, restaurateur and host moves this show to Las Vegas, home to the world’s first Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen restaurant in Caesars Palace. For the first time, 16 aspiring chefs from across the country roll the dice and head to Sin City, hoping to reap high stakes rewards while risking some bruising punishments, all dispensed with a Vegas flair. At stake for the winner is a head chef position at a Ramsay eatery in Lake Tahoe.

Mr. Mayor
8 p.m. ET on NBC – Series Premiere
Ted Danson returns to the NBC comedy lineup in this smart new sitcom created by “30 Rock” colleagues Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. The Emmy-winning actor stars as retired businessman Neil Bremer, who decides to run for mayor of Los Angeles just to prove he’s still got it. Spoiler alert: He wins, but now Neil must figure out what he stands for and how he’s going to run this ultra-high-maintenance town. Holly Hunter, Vella Lovell (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”), Kyla Kenedy (“Speechless”) and Bobby Moynihan co-star.

The Chase
9 p.m. ET on ABC – Series Premiere
This fast-paced quiz show pits the collective wits of three contestants against the Chaser, a ruthless quiz mastermind who is determined to keep them from winning cash prizes by answering the questions before the contestants do. Winning means coming up with answers more quickly than anyone ever imagined, responding to as many as 166 questions per game. Sara Haines is the host.

The Real Blac Chyna
10 p.m. ET on WE
This new docuseries follows entrepreneur, model and reality TV star Blac Chyna to explore the behind-the-scenes dynamics of her life and relationships. As the series opens, Chyna is in the middle of ongoing efforts to change course in her complicated and sometimes polarizing life, which includes repairing sensitive relationships with her mother, Tokyo Toni, and various exes. She’s also contending with various lawsuits, business ventures and other issues.
