Meemaw (Annie Potts) decides to take matters into her own hands after Sheldon’s (Iain Armitage) philosophy teacher, Professor Ericson (Melanie Lynskey, returning in a guest role), inadvertently sends the boy into a severe emotional tailspin in the new episode “An Existential Crisis and a Bear That Makes Bubbles.” Meanwhile, George Sr. (Lance Barber) discovers that Georgie (Montana Jordan) has been cutting class.
