Wild India

Emmy Award winner Sir David Attenborough narrates this new one-hour special, which explores the state of Karnataka in Southern India, home to rain forests, coral reefs and a vast and diverse population of animals. Although Karnataka makes up only five percent of India’s landmass, a jaw-dropping 25 percent of all the country’s animal species live there, including more elephants and wild tigers than anywhere else on Earth. Camera teams spent three years, adding up to 15,000 hours in the field, gathering footage for this presentation.


Motherless Brooklyn

8 p.m. ET on HBO – Premiere

Edward Norton realized a passion project in bringing this 2019 adaptation of Jonathan Lethem’s novel of the same title, with Norton writing, directing, producing and starring in the film as Lionel Essrog, an eccentric detective with Tourette’s syndrome in 1950s New York. The film follows Lionel as he tries valiantly to solve the murder of his mentor (Bruce Willis). The fine ensemble also includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Alec Baldwin, Willem Dafoe, Bobby Cannavale, Cherry Jones, Michael K. Williams and Leslie Mann. Daniel Pemberton’s original score got an Oscar nomination.


Stalked by My ­Husband’s Ex

8 p.m. ET on LIFETIME – Premiere

Hospitality queen Kristen Carter is overjoyed when her boyfriend Ryan Munson pops the question, and soon Kristen happily is anticipating becoming his wife and the stepmother to Lisa, Ryan’s 10-year-old daughter. As the big day approaches, however, strange and even deadly things start to happen around Kristen, leaving this bride-to-be fretting that her nuptials may turn into a funeral in this 2020 thriller. Alex McKenna, Juliana Dever, Adam Huss, Joey Rae Blair and Melissa Ordway star.

Tia Torres and her team at Villalobos Rescue Center, the largest pit bull rescue in the United States, returns for another season of poignant episodes in which they try to find forever homes for these misunderstood dogs while offering second chances to former inmates recently released from prison. In the season premiere, the team receives an unexpected call as a local adopter returns her canine companion Sweetcakes not long after taking her home. Meanwhile, Mariah tries to help a sweet pup whose homeless owner was forced to surrender him.
