The Curse of La Llorona

Michael Chaves made his directorial debut with this creepy 2019 thriller that casts Linda Cardellini (“Dead to Me”) as Anna Tate-Garcia, a social services case worker in 1973 Los Angeles who finds herself drawn into a baffling situation with heavy occult overtones. Eventually, she is forced to mount a desperate attempt to save her young children from a malevolent entity who is trying to steal them away. Raymond Cruz and Patricia Velasquez also star.


Chris Watts: Confessions of a Killer

8 p.m. ET on LIFETIME – Premiere

When his pregnant wife, Shanann (Ashley Williams), and their two young daughters go missing in 2018 Colorado, husband and father Chris Watts (Sean Kleier) makes a tearful appeal to TV viewers for their safe return. It isn’t long, however, before the horrific truth emerges: Watts murdered his family himself. CBI Agent Tammy Lee (Brooke Smith) ferrets out the truth from a murderous web of lies in this harrowing 2020 docudrama.


Austin City Limits

8 p.m. ET on PBS
A new hour of rock and soul on a double bill opens with the Nashville rockers Cage the Elephant, who perform hits from their fifth album, “Social Cues,” which is a nominee at the upcoming 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. Their fourth album, “Tell Me I’m Pretty,” was named best rock album at an earlier Grammys ceremony. Then, New Orleans-based group Tank and the Bangas run through hits from their second LP, “Green Balloon.”


2020 Love Ever After Preview Special

11 p.m. ET on HALLMARK
Frequent Hallmark movie leads Larissa Wohl and Luke Macfarlane co-host this new half-hour special that offers some glimpses of some of the network's upcoming romance movies, as well as other such popular special programming events as Cat Bowl II, Kitten Bowl VII and the 2020 American Rescue Dog Show.
