A new episode called “Whine Country” sees Jackie hosting a group trip to a local vineyard for some much-needed bonding time — with alcohol freely flowing. What could possibly go wrong? Things soon get tense, though, when Jennifer assails Jackie for writing a critical article about her family, motivating Margaret to weigh in with a shot at Jennifer’s brother for having a “a mail-order bride” as a fiancee. Things heat up further during a song-release party Teresa throws for Milania.
Freydis (Alicia Agneson) has a surprise for Ivar (Alex Hogh Andersen), while Hvitserk (Marco Ilso) finds himself sorely tested in the new episode “Baldur.” Elsewhere, Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) makes an astonishing discovery, and Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) enters into negotiations with the three Danish kings who have massed their armies in Reading. Those meetings could well end in peril, however.
Best known for his long run in the Fox unscripted series “America’s Most Wanted,” TV personality, victim advocate and anti-crime activist John Walsh returns to his roots in this new series, which is being described as a real-time investigation series that mobilizes the Investigation Discovery viewer base and encourages them to “actively engage in the pursuit of justice.” The series draws on Walsh’s own extensive experience in the field, coupled with a call center accepting phone leads in real time.
Syfy gave viewers a sneak peek late last month at this new series adaptation of a hit graphic novel from Rick Remender and Wes Craig, but the show makes its official series debut tonight with the “Pilot.” Benjamin Wadsworth stars as Marcus Lopez, a streetwise youth who finds himself recruited into Kings Dominion, an exclusive private academy where the next generation of the world’s top crime families are groomed. Benedict Wong, Lana Condor, Luke Tennie, Liam James and Maria Gabriela de Faria also star.
In the new episode “Blasts From the Past,” things get very tense indeed as the artists are forced to work together on the season’s first team challenge, which involves a figurative trip back through time: They’re tasked with creating gorgeous looks that appear thoroughly modern, yet are inspired by designs from the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s. Ashley Graham is the host, while Sir John plays mentor to the contestants. The judges are Christie Brinkley, Leah Wyar and Yu Tsai.
