The Passage

8 p.m. ET on FOX – Season Finale

Amy (Saniyya Sidney) faces a challenging decision that could decide the fate of humanity when the only apparent way to stop Fanning (Jamie McShane) and the virals from escaping Project NOAH involves a risky explosion that could place Brad, Sykes (Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Caroline Chikezie) and the virus cure in the crosshairs in “Stay in the Light; Last Lesson,” the two-hour Season 1 finale. In the aftermath, some surprising alliances take shape and a key figure returns to instill confidence.

Jordan (Chai Hansen) and the Praetor go in pursuit of Heidi (Tessa Mossey), while the Shadowhunters are preoccupied with an all-consuming search to find Jonathan (Luke Baines) in the new episode “Beati Bellicosi.” Elsewhere, Isabelle (Emeraude Toubia) may have stumbled upon a lead to help her understand what’s really happening in the prisons of the Clave, while Luke (Isaiah Mustafa) seeks help from Maryse Lightwood (Nicola Correia-Damude).

John & Yoko: Above Us Only Sky

Filmmaker Michael Epstein’s absorbing two-hour music documentary takes viewers on an intimate trip inside the making of “Imagine,” John Lennon’s iconic 1971 album. The film explores the creative collaboration Lennon and Yoko Ono put into this landmark release, with additional insights provided by those closest to the couple during the period in which the album was being created, along with previously unseen footage.

Kids Baking ­Championship

9 p.m. ET on FOOD – Season Finale

The Season 6 finale, “Desserts Doing Good,” finds Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman hosting the ultimate bake sale as they challenge the three remaining young bakers to incorporate such familiar items as toffee, rice-cereal treats or chocolate-covered pretzels into their creations. There’s an added twist: Each cake also has to illustrate a common bake sale theme like Drama Club, Dance Club or Chess Club. The winning baker takes home $25,000, plus a featured spot in Food Network magazine and also the title of Kids Baking Champion.

The Good Doctor

10 p.m. ET on ABC – Season Finale

Season 2 of this acclaimed medical drama closes up for now with a finale called “Trampoline,” which finds Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) seeking treatment at St. Bonaventure for the unlikeliest of reasons: injuries from a bar brawl. Elsewhere, as Dr. Melendez and Dr. Lim (Nicholas Gonzalez, Christina Chang) go public with their personal relationship, she clashes with Dr. Park (Will Yun Lee) over the post-surgical symptoms an elderly patient is exhibiting. Sheila Kelley and June Squibb guest star; Richard Schiff also stars.
