The women’s hockey tournament once again appears to be a two-team showdown between the United States and Canada, who meet tonight in a preliminary round Group B matchup. The Canadians are going for a fifth straight gold medal and handily defeated the Americans by score of 3-1 in a pre-Olympic tune-up back in December. Most speculate that this will not be their first meeting in these Olympics. Meanwhile, over on NBC pairs competition continues in figure skating.
