As their name suggests, the Critics’ Choice Awards spotlight reviewers’ picks.

The honors given by the Broadcast Critics Film Association and the Broadcast Critics Television Association have their 24th annual presentation Sunday, Jan. 13, on The CW – encompassing both movies and TV programs, as with the Golden Globe Awards. Claire Foy (who also is a supporting-actress nominee for “First Man”) and television producer Chuck Lorre (“The Big Bang Theory,” “Mom”) are slated to receive special awards.
