Jason Ritter of “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” on ABC

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: Angela Hayes from the rose scene in “American Beauty.”

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: “Family Matters” – “Stevil” where an evil ventriloquist dummy that looks like Steve Urkel comes to life kills the whole family (It’s just a nightmare).

Kimberly Hébert Gregory of “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” on ABC

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: My most memorable Halloween costume was one I created, “The Woman Who Lives Under the Couch.” I wore a black dress and stuck coins, lint, wrappers and a remote control to it, made my face up and loved people’s responses when they asked. I guess everyone has the same under the cushion cleaning issue.

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: I am a super scary person, so most horror genre films keep me up at night, so I typically steer clear. My favorite Halloween related special is still “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.”

Chloe East of “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” on ABC

A: Most memorable costume was “Barbie in the Box.”

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: “The Night of the Hunter.”

Dustin Ybarra of “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” on ABC

A: I once bit 3 holes in a tortilla and used it as a mask on Halloween, and also on other fun occasions just to liven things up.

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: “The Shining” and “Ernest Scared Stupid.”

India de Beaufort of “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” on ABC

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: “Hocus Pocus” all the way.

Erich Bergen of “Madam Secretary” on CBS

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: I was obsessed with “The Rocketeer” when the film came out – that Halloween, I went in the full Rocketeer outfit, including a Mom-made rocket pack made out of tinfoil …which I proceeded to wear every day until Christmas.

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: If you haven’t seen “The Paul Lynde Halloween Special,” you must! You can tell even Paul himself wonders “why is this happening?” Guests include Witchiepoo, KISS, Florence Henderson and Donny & Marie Osmond. Coincidentally, I’ve dressed up as all of those people for one Halloween or another.

Keith Carradine of “Madam Secretary” on CBS

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: I put a paper bag over my head and a beret on top of that and recited one-liners in French. I was the Unknown French Comic. (This was in the early ’70s.)

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: The classic original “Dracula” with Bela Lugosi. “Herzog’s Nosferatu the Vampyre” remake with Klaus Kinski is the modern equal.

Maria Bello of “NCIS” on CBS

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: When we were kids, we went as the same thing every year … hoboes. We would have sticks with bandannas tied around them, and we’d put dirt on our faces like guys during the Depression traveling on trains. That was our go-to, with old clothes and dirty faces.

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: I have to say that I really loved “Get Out.” My son and I watched it together, and we were so freaked out. I went out the next evening, and I was supposed to be home at 11; I got back at 11:30, and he was like, “Mom! Where were you? I was terrified that those ‘Get Out’ people took you!”

Wilmer Valderrama of “NCIS” on CBS

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: A Latino James Bond.

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: “Gremlins.”

Jordan Andino of “Late Night Eats” on Cooking Channel

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: (Laughs) Yeah, I have a few, some are a little more inappropriate than others. But let’s go with … King Leonidas from the movie “300.” That was a fun one. I have better ones but I don’t think I could tell you those.

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: I would have to say – and it’s trending right now it really kind of changed my childhood –- was “It” (by) Stephen King.

Jason Beghe of “Chicago P.D.” NBC

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: Skeleton costume (because I actually pooped in it).

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: “Halloween.” Went with (David) Duchovny. Not long after graduating high school. Scarred for life. (I’m not good at scary movies at all.)

Tracy Spiridakos of “Chicago P.D.” NBC

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: My favorite Halloween costume was when my fella and I dressed up as Jack Burton and Gracie Law from “Big Trouble in Little China.” I usually dress in sweatpants and try to pass it off as a “baby” costume, so this was a huge step up for me.

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: “The Simpsons” Halloween specials are my favorite. Does that count?  I’m not the best with scary movies, though I’m told I’m fun to watch them with because I fall for every movie-magic scare tactic. Every. Time. Even though I KNOW the scary part is coming, I will scream and bury my face in my sweater and hide until the moment is over, and I’m not ashamed to say it.

Marina Squerciati of “Chicago P.D.” NBC

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: Evil Wonder Woman. I made it too. Black leotard and silver duct tape, is all you need. Plus a cape.

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: “Buffy’s” special Halloween episode. Obvi.

Kate del Castillo of “The Day I Met El Chapo” on Netflix

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: I’ve never dressed up as something special. I just have fun.

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: My favorite ever is “Friday the 13th.” I love that movie.

Holt McCallany of “Chicago P.D.” NBC

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: One year, I spent Halloween in the French Quarter in New Orleans … and it was just absolutely crazy. I had kind of picked up my costume last minute and so I was dressed as a cop. But the people were so drunk, many of them actually mistook me for a real cop, so I spent most of the evening walking around threatening to arrest people and take them downtown … .

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: Oh that’s easy. My favorite horror movie is a movie which I highly recommend called “Creepshow 2.” It was also my first film … .”

Jay Pharoah of “White Famous” on Showtime

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: I think last year, when I put on the Bruce Lee outfit, that was my favorite one. I didn’t think it was going to get the attention it got. I didn’t even know I could jump that high! I was like, “I want to take Tae Kwon Do now! This is amazing!”

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: I was into “American Horror Story” in its earlier seasons, and my favorite scary movie — it’s not even scary, it’s funny to me — is “House on Haunted Hill.” I don’t know why, but to me, that movie is hilarious.

Michelle Dockery of “Good Behavior” TNT

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: My friend did a party when I was at drama school and they did tube stations, like a subway station, and I think I was Holland Park (in London). So I went dressed up as a wealthy lady with my friend’s dog. We don’t do Halloween very well here as you can tell (laughs). … I’ve been Morticia before, but who hasn’t?

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: I’m such a scaredy cat. I don’t really watch anything scary. Oh, “The Addams Family.”

Josh Gates of “Expedition Unknown” on Travel Channel

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: One year, I dressed up as the Invisible Man and I really tried to match the old Claude Rains outfit from the Universal film. And I felt so proud of myself, I felt like I had really nailed it. I got wrapped in all these bandages and glasses, and I thought I had really nailed it. And of course, it turned out to be the hottest, least comfortable thing I had ever worn. … So I was the sweaty Invisible Man.

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: For me, the scariest horror film was “The Omen” because I saw it when I was too young and it completely messed me up. People always say “The Exorcist.” I’ve never really been scared by “The Exorcist.” I always thought it was kind of goofy with all the projectile vomiting and everything. But man, “The Omen” messed me up. I thought that was just terrifying. … And I would say the original “Texas Chainsaw Massacre.”

Martin Wallstrom of “Mr. Robot” USA Network

Q: What is the most memorable costume you’ve worn?

A: I think we were in New York two years ago and I dressed up as a dog. I don’t know if it’s memorable.

Q: What is your favorite Halloween movie or TV special?

A: Yeah, the Freddy Krueger movies, the one with Jamie Lee Curtis (“Halloween”). I have to admit that scary and horror films is my absolute worst. I cannot watch them. I watched “It” in 1995. I’m still so scared from that movie that I can’t watch the new one. … This horror thing is not my thing.
