Manager Dusty Baker’s Washington Nationals and the St. Louis Cardinals are once again expected to be two of baseball’s best this season. The Nats’, who host the Cardinals tonight handily won the NL East last season while the Cards’ came up one game short of a Wild Card berth. Both teams entered the new season relatively healthy, although St. Louis would like to see Matt Carpenter overcome nagging injuries he experienced during spring training.
